Mortar and Pestle, Black Pentacle

A black soapstone mortar & pestle set with pentacle hand-carved into the side of the mortar. 

Mortar and pestles are wonderful for grinding up culinary herbs and spices, or for use in making incense and other herbal resin blends.

We recommend keeping a mortar and pestle for edible creations, and a separate mortar and pestle for non-edible. Even if you wash soapstone, residue can remain. 

Soapstone is commonly believed to have a soothing, balancing effect while creating a positive, calming energy.

Pentacles represent Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. They are a protection symbol.

Note: Soapstone varies in depth of colour and pattern within the stone.
