A mortar and pestle is a set of two simple tools used to prepare ingredients or substances by crushing and grinding them into a fine paste or powder. They've been used since time immemorial.

It's great to keep two on hand, one set for grinding non-edible things such as resins when preparing incenses, and another set for culinary purposes.

This set is crafted of natural soapstone. Soapstone is commonly believed to have a soothing, balancing effect while creating a positive, calming energy.

The bowl portion (mortar) measures 2.75" high x 3" diameter.
