The Yin and Yang energies from before the 3rd century
BCE is a strong fundamental balance in Chinese philosophy and culture.
The symbol is ever present wherever we go and look; in mountains, in the
sea, and in all of nature. Yin and Yang depict that all things exist as
inseparable and contradictory opposites. The two opposites of Yin and
Yang attract and complement each other, and each side has at its core an
element of the other. Either pole is superior to the other or, as an
increase in one brings a corresponding decrease in the other, a correct
balance between the two poles must be reached to achieve harmony.
B Like the rising of the tide and the falling of the waves, our lives follow a regular movement and find its natural balance. Life, after all, is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm, and harmony.
