Venus Of Willendorf Pendant, Sterling

Venus Of Willendorf Pendant, Sterling

The Venus of Willendorf is an 11.1-centimetre-tall Venus figurine estimated to have been made around 25,000–30,000 years ago. It has been suggested that she is a fertility figure, a good-luck totem, a mother goddess symbol, or an aphrodisiac made by men for the appreciation of men. The Venus of Willendorf is one of the oldest and most complete surviving examples of Paleolithic, prehistoric art.

This pendant is cast in sterling silver and measures approximately 1".
