A relatively rare variety of fossilized tree resin, blue Amber has only been found in the Dominican Republic, with a concentration near Santiago. Under artificial light, the Amber appears like ordinary Amber, but when sunlight hits it, it develops a fluorescent blue glow. It is said that Blue Amber aids in the intellectual abilities of the barer, fostering flexible thinking and creativity.
