A mala is the most ancient form of a rosary used to count the repetitions of a mantra or a prayer, as the spiritual self is trained.  Traditional malas have 108 beads made of wood, stone or seeds.  There are more modern variations of prayer beads that contain less beads, such as mala bracelets.  Custom prayer beads available upon request for an additional fee.  If interested, please email Tara through our contact us page below.
