Odin's Wolves & Yggrissil Necklace - Bronze Tone

Odins Wolves & Yggrissil Necklace - Bronze Tone

In Norse mythology, Geri and Freki are two wolves which are said to accompany the god Odin. They are attested in the Poetic Edda, a collection of epic poetry compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, in the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson, and in the poetry of skalds.

This double sided necklace also features Yggrissil - the World Tree, framed by Geri and Freki the wolves. In Norse mythology, Yggdrasill is an enormous ash tree that connects the nine worlds, including the underworld (Niflheim), the earth (Midgard), and the realm of the gods (Asgard).

The pendant portion measures approximately 1.5" x 1.2" and comes with black cording. Crafted of bronze-tone lead-free hypoallergenic metal alloy.
