These small but beautiful pieces of natural Ruby hold wonderful energy. Ruby is a red variety of the mineral corundum. Corundum, in general, is an aluminum oxide that can be found in various colors. The red color in rubies is due to the presence of chromium in the crystal structure. Other colors of corundum are classified as sapphires.

Ruby is believed to promote loving, nurturing, health, knowledge and wealth. It has been associated with improved energy and concentration, creativity, loyalty, honor and compassion.
