A mala is the most ancient form of a rosary used to count the repetitions of a mantra or a prayer, as the spiritual self is trained. Traditional malas have 108 beads made of wood, stone or seeds.
This beautiful mala was crafted of 8mm Moss Agate beads. It has a blue and white tassel. It measures approximately 50 cm long (around 20") including the tassel when worn as a necklace.
Throughout history within many
cultures, Moss Agate has been known as the crystal of gardeners and
agriculture. It was considered a miraculous healing stone for tribal
priests of the past. It was used as a talisman to make warriors strong
and victorious. It is also a stone of abundance and prosperity.
