Celtic Triskelle Wall Plaque

Celtic Triskelle Wall Plaque

Triple Goddess Triskelle Bronze Finish Small Wall Plaque by Maxine Miller Celtic Art

The Triskele or Triple Spiral is a complex Celtic symbol and has taken on many meanings throughout the years: life-death-rebirth, spirit-mind-body, mother-father-child, past-present-future, power-intellect-love, mother-maiden-crone and creation-preservation-destruction to name but a few. It represents motion as all three arms are positioned to make it appear as if it is moving signifying active energy all around us - the motion of action, cycles, progress, revolution, and completion. It is also believed to represent three Celtic worlds; the spiritual world, the present world, the celestial world.

Between the arms of the triskelle, artist Maxine Miller has depicted the Triple Goddess, also in motion: Maiden, Mother and Crone.

Made of finely detailed cold cast resin infused with bronze powder for the look of bronze at a fraction of the weight and price, it is 10 3/4 inches in diameter.
