Obsidian is a very protective stone, and is excellent for removing negativity and preventing negativity from being absorbed. It is a grounding stone, and very healing. Obsidian is related to the root chakra. It is actually cooled and hardened lava, thus is a natural glass. Black Obsidian is completely black with a glossy shiny finish.

These gems measure approximately 20 - 22 mm and are slightly squared in shape. Sold in singles.
