For most of us, putting up a full-sized May Day pole isn't gonna happen. lol. Finding the time to honour this day and the changing season, is important to us - but finding the time to craft a May Pole may not be in the budget or time available this week.

Welcome the Beltane Jar! Such a great idea if you're wanting to mark the day, without too much fuss in the decor department. This is a fun and hands-on craft for children too! Have them go out and collect items from nature they can include in the jar. If you have several children, having them each make their own little jar can also be fun.

What matters is intention!

And what is Beltane, anyways?

Beltane is a sacred spring festival celebrated around May 1st, marking the peak of fertility, growth, and new life. It honours the union of divine energies, the blossoming of the earth, and the return of warmth and abundance. Traditionally celebrated with fire, flowers, and joyful rituals, Beltane is a time to set intentions, embrace passion, and welcome new beginnings.
