Peace Chakra Dream Catcher
The Peace Chakra Dream Catcher is made of faux suede wrapped in alternating bands of chakra colors to form the central Peace sign and the rim. Strands with natural feathers and accent beads complete the design of this lovely dream catcher. Approximately 6" in diameter.
Woven a bit like a cobweb, the dream catcher has the function to filter all dreams. Good dreams stay in the room and bad dreams are imprisoned and burnt at sunrise with the first rays of light.
Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means wheel. It refers to the energy centers found in the body. Most Eastern traditions describe seven major Chakras positioned along the midline of the body from the base of the spine to the crown of the head.
Dream catchers are a First Nations sacred tool for filtering negative vibes and only allowing positive thoughts to enter the mind. They are decorated with sacred items such as feathers and beads.
The dream catchers we are offering here are art forms, crafted by various people from all walks of life. We do not claim they are completely traditional or authentically crafted by Indigenous peoples. Should someone wish to barter with us so we can obtain authentic First Nations crafted dream catchers, we would definitely welcome that. Please contact us if you craft these items. If you're seeking authentic Indigenous crafts, please contact your local First Nations community center. They can point you in the right direction.
