Orange Kyanite Specimen
This brittle and fibrous mineral, aluminum silicate, is found in garnet and mica deposits. It is used in the manufacture of porcelain and as an electrical insulator. Kyanite is striated with a pearlized appearance.
Orange Kyanite is not common, and these tiny but beautiful specimens are for the rock hound collector, and those who want to work with it's amazing energy.
