Desert Rose Selenite Stone

With its soft, earthy colours and curving, layered crystals, this desert rose specimen is an unusual and beautiful addition to your crystal collection.

Desert roses are created when gypsum forms in the tiny spaces between sand grains, creating interlocking shapes resembling carved roses. These roses soften other crystals and have a subtle beauty for a gorgeous crystal gift.

Each will vary, but measure approx. 25 mm to 30 mm. They are not perfectly round, please expect natural "flaws" in the shape and appearance of each Rose, as they are created by Mother Nature and are each very unique.

Note: it is totally normal and natural that these pieces leave a powder in the package they're in, and after you hold them. That's the gypsum from the selenite content. Handle gently.
