Silver Leaf Jasper is an opaque variety of Chalcedony, which is a variety of microcrystalline fibrous Quartz.  The colour is due to minute quantities of various elements.  Silver Leaf Jasper is distinguished by its grey silver green colouration resembling foliage patterns.  It is an excellent protection stone, providing protection for both travellers and astral travellers.  It is also a grounding stone, and is especially useful in healing.
