Sardonyx Palm Stone

Highly polished semi-precious stones that are smooth to the touch. Earth stones are easy to carry in pockets and bags and a great way to appreciate the natural beauty of gemstones.

Onyx is a variety of chalcedony or microcrystalline quartz which is formed in the gas cavities of lava. Generally, most onyx has a parallel banding structure (as opposed to agate which is more irregular). Sardonyx is a variant of onyx in which the coloured bands are sard (shades of red).

As a healing stone, Sardonyx is called the stone of the senses, improving sensory perception and strengthening immune system. The stone encourages one to be more adventurous, fearless and willing to take on challenges.

Each polished palm stones measures approximately 35 mm. Sold in singles. No two are ever the same. Please allow for variations of patterns, colour depth, etc... as shown in the photo. This gemstone varies greatly from piece to piece.

NOTE: The slightly flawed ones just have small cracks and rough edges, but they're still beautiful!

The dark ones don't have as much colour or pattern variation, but are still very nice too.
