Sunstone Gem Wand

Sunstone is a plagioclase feldspar, which when viewed from certain directions exhibits a spangled appearance. This optical effect is caused by inclusions of copper which may take on a variety of shapes.

These nicely polished and rounded wands are wonderful for massage and energy work. 

Once believed to be a piece of the sun, sunstone was sought after by ancient magicians to attract the associated wealth and power. It is also thought to relate to the Phoenix that appeared at first sunrise. It is believed to heighten intuition and to instill a feeling of joy.
