Tingsha (or ting-sha) are small cymbals used in prayer and rituals by Tibetan Buddhist practitioners. Two cymbals are joined together by a leather strap or chain. The cymbals are struck together producing a clear and high pitched tone. Tingsha are very thick brass and produce a unique long ringing tone.
Many people use bells and tinghas to clear negative vibrations from a home and sacred space. It's a beautiful way to clear energy and signal the beginning of a meditation or spiritual/healing work.
These brass tingshas each measure approximately 1.75" in diameter. They make clear and steady high tone.
